Bacteria and Germs

Dr. Fauci addressed the dangers of bacteria and germs in a 2008 study of the Spanish Flu:

"The weight of evidence we examined from both historical and modern analyses of the 1918 influenza pandemic favors a scenario in which viral damage followed by bacterial pneumonia led to the vast majority of deaths," says co-author NIAID Director Anthony S. Fauci, M.D. "In essence, the virus landed the first blow while bacteria delivered the knockout punch." [Reference]

Loose Fibers

Masks shed fibers over use, and wearing a mask may cause these fibers to enter the lungs. What are the health effects of these fibers? Is TORAYMICRON^TM carcinogenic, or cancer-causing, when fibers enter the lungs?

Common masks are made of "Melt-Blown Fabic, or TORAYMICRON^TM. According to one manufacturer, "..a high-performance, non-woven sheet made of special ultra-fine polypropylene fibers that are given electret properties through a specialized process." [1]

What are the effects of polypropylene fibers in the lungs?

Blocked Breathing

Masks are an obstruction to the airway.

They make it harder to breathe, especially as they are used and dust starts to clog the small openings in the weave.

This can cause eadaches, reduced concentration, light-headedness, and other effects.

Droplets Absorbed

This is an image of a droplet absorbed by a mask. Masks can absorb droplets from the air, creating risk to the wearer to more bacteria and germs.

Accommodate Existing Conditions

For those already suffering from a lung disorder, such as asthma, wearing a mask is torture. make it quite difficult to breathe. Effects are headaches, reduced concentration, more frequent medicine/inhaler use, and gasping for breath are common.

Adding insult to injury is the attitude towards making an accommodation.

Child-Specific Risks

Do masks harm children?

• Children can be too young to remove it if they are having trouble breathing.
• Wearing a mask makes it difficult to concentrate in school, negatively affecting learning.
• The above effects may be amplified on the developing lungs and body of a child.

Health Care Accountability

In the 19th and 20th centuries, asbestos was considered a "miracle mineral." It was later proven to be carcinogenic, and have devastating health effects.

Is history repeating itself? In 10 years, will we have a rash of mask-related illnesses?

Assume that masks cause health problems. Who is accountable? The policies that mandate mask wearing? The mask manufacturers? The distributors? Regardless, they must be held accountable.
